Position

We are seeking an Electric Vehicle Engineer with proven experience in the automotive sector and a strong passion for innovation and electric mobility. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for defining and drafting high-level functional specifications for vehicle functions, working closely with engineering, system architecture, and validation teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze system requirements and translate them into high-level vehicle functional specifications.
  • Collaborate with electronic, software, and mechanical engineering teams to ensure consistency and traceability of requirements.
  • Support the definition of the functional architecture of vehicle functions in the field of electrification (powertrain, energy management, charging, etc.).
  • Contribute to the standardization of specification writing procedures according to automotive industry methods and standards.
  • Provide technical support during the integration and validation phases of vehicle functions.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Electric vehicle engineering (or similar field with focus on EVs)
  • Previous experience in the automotive sector, preferably with electrical/electronic systems or vehicle functions.
  • Knowledge of automotive development standards.
  • Skills in requirement definition and management (e.g. Polarion, or similar tools).
  • Understanding of electrical schematics, vehicle ECU functionalities, and high-level user interaction with vehicle systems.
  • Strong command of written and spoken English.
  • Team-oriented mindset, analytical skills, and attention to detail.

Other information

  • Full-time schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
  • Location: On-site work in Turin
