RE:Lab technology installed at #Museo della città, Rovereto

On the 29th June 2019 #Museo della Città opened to the city of Rovereto, Italy. The Museum is the first place dedicated to the city, through the voices and faces of its protagonists.

RE:Lab collaborated towards the project by designing and developing apps and digital stations, accordingly to the curatorial set-up.

Each of us had a personal threshold for the perceived harmfulness of objects. We perceive things as dangerous/ harmless, clean/dirty in a personal way as a result of a mix of factors like our culture, personal experience, education, etc. We can say that every day, every moment, we carry on a trust/mistrust relationship with physical things around us.

In the last article published on our Medium channel and authored by Francesco Tesauri, we explore how differently the objects we deal with every day can be perceived, and the growing potential of touchless technologies against risk and mistrust barriers.

A solid example comes from Ultraleap, which has a long story of developing brilliant solutions based on mid-air haptics.
