Position

RE:LAB is currently seeking a Test Engineer who will be responsible for the design, development, and execution of sophisticated tests on automotive software and hardware systems.

You will collaborate closely with the design team to ensure compliance with quality and safety requirements, contributing to the success of innovative projects within the automotive sector


  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive software and hardware tests for automotive systems to ensure performance, safety, and reliability.
  • Analyze and understand automotive-specific test requirements, collaborating closely with the design team to identify critical areas for testing.
  • Develop and implement test plans and procedures for automotive components and systems.
  • Configure and manage automotive testing tools and equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Conduct tests on automotive prototypes and production models, meticulously recording and analyzing results.
  • Identify and resolve issues related to automotive electronics, software, and hardware during testing.
  • Maintain and update documentation related to automotive tests, including compliance reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and validate automotive components within the overall system.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in designing and executing automotive-specific software and hardware tests.
  • In-depth knowledge of automotive testing tools, protocols, and industry standards.
  • Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (CAN ect).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, C++) for test automation.
  • Understanding of automotive safety and regulatory standards.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a cross-functional automotive development team.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
