Designing human experiences for complex technologies.

Position

To support the activities of our HMI prototyping department, we are looking for a Prototyping & Motion Design Intern (extracurricular internship) interested in working on 3D interface elements and motion design for digital systems.

The internship offers the opportunity to contribute to the creation of visual prototypes and animated interface elements, supporting the development and exploration of advanced HMI concepts within mobility and technology-driven environments.

The selected candidate will collaborate with designers and engineers on prototyping activities involving 3D modeling, motion design, and interface animation.

Main Activities

• Support the 3D modeling of interface elements and visual components used in HMI prototypes.
• Contribute to the creation of motion graphics and animated interface behaviors.
• Assist in the development of visual prototypes combining 3D elements and motion design.
• Collaborate with designers in translating static interface concepts into animated visual experiences.
• Participate in iterative prototyping activities supporting interaction design exploration.
• Contribute to the preparation of visual assets and documentation for prototyping activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or currently enrolled) in Digital Design, Motion Design, 3D Design, Interaction Design, or related fields.
• Strong interest in 3D modeling and motion design for digital interfaces.
• Interest in working with tools such as Blender, 3ds Max, After Effects, or similar software.
• Curiosity toward interactive systems, HMI design, and digital prototyping.
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Attention to visual detail and willingness to learn new tools and workflows.
• Good command of the English language.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Rive or other tools for interface animation.
• Experience with motion graphics or animated interface elements.
• Personal or academic projects involving 3D modeling or motion design.
• Interest in mobility, automotive interfaces, or advanced digital interaction systems.
