Digital Twin to enhance Sustainability, Awareness, and Attractiveness of naturalistic and touristic areas of interest.

The project DISCOV.ER was co-funded by the European Funds 2021-2027 of the Emilia-Romagna Region.

The project arises from the need to monitor climate changes and predict their impact on biodiversity, with the goal of raising public awareness. The objective is to develop innovative technological solutions to address social issues such as climate change and environmental conservation, fostering social and economic development. In particular, the project involves the design and development of a digital twin for natural and tourist areas in the Po Delta Natural Park. The digital twin will aggregate data from an infrastructure of sensors designed by us, integrated with data from other sources.
